Midwest Rubber Racer - Skill Level One Rubber Band Powered Car
This easy to build, fun to race rubber powered car is powered by kinetic action. Kids learn
about Newton’s Laws of Motion while having fun! The vehicle is powered by a simple rubber
motor drive and uses traction ballast for hours of racing fun and excitement. The car is
constructed of high quality basswood and has been carefully engineered to make sure the
pieces all fit together easily for quick and fun assembly, sort of like piecing together a
jigsaw puzzle. This unique construction technique creates a strong, durable car which should
last through many races. The kit includes all the parts needed for construction - basswood
pieces, metal axels, cool wheels and the rubber band which serves as the motor. You will
need a small sanding block and sandpaper, masking tape, waxed paper, small piece of corrugated
cardboard, wood or craft glue, paint (if decorating is desired), modeling knife, straight
pins, marker and assembly.

Midwest Prop Racer
The Prop Racer uses the stored energy of a wound up rubber band to turn a propeller and power
this little vehicle forward. This skill level one kit is suitable for ages 8 and above. The
body and spoiler are precut from basswood and has been carefully engineered to exacting
standards. The body strut has the wheels already attached. You may decorate the finished
vehicle any way you wish, and hold racing competitions. It is 13 and a half inches long when
finished.
